Well, that’s a little misleading. Yes, my salmon pink bird eater kicks hairs like crazy, but he didn’t get me directly. There was a cleaning incident.

Acquired: Salmon Pink Birdeater [014]
I brought home my Lasiodora parahybana on January 7, 2014. Based on the size of her abdomen, how long she’d been at the store, and the presence of a molt, I estimate her last molt was close to Chrismas. She’s 0.7 inches, still colorless (beige) with a black hair-spot on her abdomen, and is quite skittish.
Molt (1): 2/1/2014 @ 35 days from acquisition, or 25 days from last estimated molt.
0.75- 0.8 inches
Colored up this molt, a much darker charcoal. Her size does not seem to have increased as dramatically as in other species I keep. She remains very active at disturbances.
